Yesterday, April 11, t he U.S. Department of Justice filed an antitrust suit against Apple and several major publishers charging that the companies conspired to artificially inflate the price of e-books. In a comment worthy of the satirical Onion news site, Attorney General Eric Holder said that
the Department of Justice is "committed to ensuring that eBooks are as affordable as possible."
